BIOE 2580 - Biomedical Applications of Signal Processing

Description: The goal of this course it to provide students with experience in applying signal processing techniques to medical and biological data. The nature of biological signals and noise, including appropriate physiological background information, will be presented. Digital filtering, spectral analysis, and automated interpretation of signals will be discussed, with examples drawn from current problems in clinical medicine and research.
