BIOE 3000 - Advanced Tissue Biomechanics

Instructor: Staff

Credits:

Term: Spring

Description: This course will provide a foundation for studies in fluid and solid mechanics, bioengineering, materials science, as well as other branches of science and engineering. The basic definitions of stress, strain, will be covered using tensor notation, followed by generalized formulations of constitutive equations. Applications will be stressed, and will include both conventional and biological materials, with a focus on reducing complex behaviors to precise mathematical expressions.
