Graduate Tracks

Biosignals and imaging

This graduate track has a specific menu of courses to satisfy the 9-credit "Track Courses" requirement for the Research M.S., Ph.D., or M.D./Ph.D.

The "Track Courses" for the Biosignals and Imaging Track can be any graduate-level course from the University of Pittsburgh's

• Department of Electrical Engineering
• Department of Computer Engineering
• Department of Computer Science
• Department of Neuroscience

or from Carnegie Mellon University's

• School of Computer Science
• Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering

or the following course:

• BIOE 2250 - Cardiovascular Clinical Internships
(special permission required)

or one of the following Bioengineering Courses:

• BIOE 2380 - Medical Imaging Systems I
• BIOE 2382 - Medical Imaging Systems II
• BIOE 2630 - Methods in Image Analysis
