Undergraduate Internships

All undergraduates are required to complete an Intramural Internship (BIOE 1002) conducting research in a university research laboratory.

Some students are also selected for a Summer Research Experience in which they are paid to conduct research, which may be part of their Intramural Internship.

In addition, students may participate in an Industrial Internship (BIOE 1003) working at one of our industrial associates, usually for a summer.

The Internship Office oversees these programs.
