Professional Interests

Professor Koepsel has interests in a range of fields. His current work centers around the production of polyurethane coatings which can specifically bind and destroy microorganisms. In addition, these coatings will incorporate factors which will indicate the presence of specific organisms.

He also has a long term interest in metabolic engineering, particularly the genetic modification of metabolic pathways to direct carbon flux to new or interesting products.

Benedum Hall

Dedicated in 1971, Benedum Hall is home to exploration and discovery.
