Chem.), Fritz-Haber-Institute, Berlin, Germany, 1993 Professional InterestsAfter receiving his PhD in 1993, Professor Veser was a A.v.Humboldt Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science at the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis) from 1994 to 1996. The focus of Professor Veser's research is on catalytic reaction engineering with an emphasis on the integration of a fundamental understanding of reaction mechanisms with the design of novel catalyst systems and the development of modern reactor concepts.
