The Women's Auxiliary to the American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical and Petroleum Engineers, Inc. (WAAIME) was formed 1916 in New York City. There are approximately 1000 members organized in twenty sections across the United States and two international sections in Mexico City and in Lima, Peru. WAAIME promotes education in the mining, minerals and petroleum engineering fields. |
