Undergraduate Co-op Program

Grading Process

Students must complete three rotations to receive credit for co-op. If a student decides not to do the paper, presentation or poster session, the student can still receive an "S" grade as long as three rotations are completed. The student would still receive a certificate, but would not receive academic credit toward the degree requirements. The paper, presentation or poster session must be completed in order to earn the credits.

Students who do not complete the three rotations keep their "I" grades. The only exception is if they are laid off. They are then issued an "S" grade if they can't find another position or don't want another position.
