Programs Project and Research OpportunitiesThere are a number of project, research and professional opportunities available for undergraduates in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. These include: The Co-op Program Students in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering have the opportunity to participate in the Cooperative Education (Co-op) Program which allows them to enhance their knowledge with three terms of direct industry involvement in a paid engineering training position. Civil engineering experience could include areas such as design office, field construction, fabrication, and more. Our department strongly supports the program, and assigns faculty for special Co-op advising, as well as offers summer term courses to maintain student academic progress.
