Manufacturing Assistance Center Hosts Presentation and Roundtable LuncheonThe event will take place with local legislators on Thursday, February 26
The Manufacturing Assistance Center will host a presentation and roundtable luncheon on Thursday, February 26. The discussion will focus on the critical lack of well-trained workers in the machining disciplines and how that threatens the economic future of Western Pennsylvania.
At the roundtable, discussions will be had on expanding training availability, increasing access to training for targeted populations, advocating readiness and providing New Energy Industry information to small and mid-sized manufacturers in western PA in an effort to stimulate opportunity for the manufacturers as well as jobs for local communities.
The event will be held in association with The Honorable Frank Dermody and local legislators will be available.
