Kresge Rapid Manufacturing Laboratory

This laboratory completes the product development cycle through the strength of today's manufacturing technology. We help clients meet turnaround deadlines by rapidly fabricating small batches of new products using our state of the art technology. To ensure quality control, two test cells within the lab enable us to put the products through rigorous testing -- testing that is key to product design and improvement.

Technology:

Through the Rapid Manufacturing Lab, products are fabricated and tested using:

  • CNC machine tools
  • Welders
  • Injection molding
  • Vacuum casting machines
  • Electronic test cell (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, signal generators)
  • Materials testing cell (instron machines, hand and power tools to dissect products)
