What We Do

The John A. Swanson Center for Product Innovation is a one-stop new product development shop designed to help industry take advantage of the wealth of educational and technical resources available at the University of Pittsburgh School of Engineering.

The services are provided by students, qualified technicians and our world-class faculty. Using an industry project setting, students are provided with an invaluable opportunity to receive real-world experience in every phase of product development, and interact with both industry professionals and students in other disciplines.

This cohesive team environment allows students to help industry and entrepreneurs bring their latest innovations to market, rapidly and at a competitive cost.

Whether you're an industry professional looking to bring a new product to the public, or a student interested in a great educational opportunity.
