What We Do Quality Research

The John A. Swanson Center for Product Innovation is an invaluable resource to researchers that need that extra technological advantage. For smaller companies that lack the resources to own equipment as contained in our laboratories, the Center becomes a convenience and a benefit.

By leveraging the services of the Center's students , qualified technicians and knowledgeable faculty, clients can perform rapid prototyping and reverse engineering using the latest in 3D computer-aided design modeling tools and laser scanning equipment. This allows them to determine how their test object might function under a multitude of stresses and scenarios, and then fine-tune that concept down to the last millimeter.
